At Wellington Willows Boutique Bed & Breakfast we are reimagining the bed and breakfast experience. As seasoned travellers ourselves, we know that top-class accommodation must offer a balance of luxury and comfort, along with great food, polite service and guest privacy. Most importantly, we aim to make all our visitors feel relaxed and at home in our beautiful property, so that they can best enjoy all that Prince Edward County has to offer.
Our property has been thoughtfully restored to offer a comfortable and relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Inspired by the two majestic Willows that sit at the front of our home, all our luxury suites have been named after trees. The Acacia reminds us of our time spent in Africa. The Maple is famous for its beautiful autumn colours, sweet maple syrup and its central position on the Canadian flag. The giant Sequoia is strong and long-lasting – just like our old farmhouse. And Hazel? Well, apart from being a beautiful tree, it is also the name of David’s mom.
The most important meal of the day is a gourmet experience for our guests. Breakfast can be enjoyed in our chef’s kitchen or on the front porch. Eating healthy and buying locally is important to us. We use fresh herbs from our garden, free-range eggs and meats from our local farmers, cheeses from local producers, breads from the village bakeries and a variety of homemade jams from our good friend Ron. Our baked goods are made from scratch every morning.
Wellington Willows Boutique B&B offers guests an opportunity to unwind and getaway from the ordinary. Curl up with a book on our day bed in the front porch, or just sip a cup of coffee and watch the day go by while looking at the colourful birds in the gardens. Sit on the Adirondack chairs on the back porch and chill out with a local beer or wine while watching the sun go down over the lake. Do a lot, or do nothing at all.
We offer free Wi-Fi for those who need to do such things as post beautiful pictures of their trip to Prince Edward County. While there is a TV in the common area bedrooms are TV-free zones, which allows guests the opportunity to really unwind and disconnect.
Our property is not suitable for children; we provide an adult getaway for our guests. Isabella, our friendly and cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy, is our official greeter. Otherwise our property is pet-free. There are may excellent pet boarding facilities that pet owners can make use of while in The County.
